The Swedish studio Note presents the youngest members of the Tonella family, two poufs that join one of Sancal’s most distinguished sagas.

In this new piece, the chubby upholstered seat is held aloft by a metallic cage support. Wine barrels inspired the original design, the staves of which are represented by the base’s vertical bars – a design accent that runs throughout the family’s armchair, sofa and lounge chair.

The seat is plane and contrast against the outer area’s quilting, which follows the lines of the staves. The metal support is available in two finishes: bronze or nacar.

Tonella’s latest addition offers a fresh option, not only as a foot rest, but also a stool in its own right, ideal for any corner or breakout area.

With this new member in the family we continue paying tribute to our origin in wine growing southern Spain.
