This "furniture sculpture" consists of 21 different panels, each with different angles. Empire is technically an extremely challenging product. It requires 3D milling equipment with the highest possible precision and is made with a high level of craftsmanship, delicate assembly and lacquering process.

Empire has been exhibited in the Museum fur Gestaltung in Zurich (Switzerland), in the Kolnisches Kunstverein in Cologne (Germany) and has been published a lot around the world. It is easy to find a space for it and it is extremely practical: books automatically lay on their side; there is no need for book supports anymore! Empire is very decorative, even more when used in repetition.

Empire is delivered fully assembled. Empire is equipped with adjustable feet, so it is easy to level it in a perfectly horizontal position. Empire can be installed freestanding. Nevertheless, Quodes recommends placing Empire against a wall for security reasons.
