The comfortable Outdoor Deck Chair is part of the AH Outdoor series, designed by Alfred Homann in 2022. Like the other outdoor furniture in the series, the deck chair is characterized by strict lines elegantly combined with soft, rounded details. Comfort is paramount with carefully measured angles in the seat and backrest. The deck chair is made of FSC-certified teak, a hardy type of wood that patinas beautifully over time. 

The AH Outdoor Series features a rigorous aesthetic paired with Homann’s sense of soft shapes – as evidenced in the beautifully curved armrests, backrests, and seats, where the braces elegantly grip the frame. These joints are meticulously polished by hand by the skilled craftsmen at Carl Hansen & Son, to achieve a soft and tactile surface. All the tables and chairs can be stacked for ease of storage when not in use, exemplifying Homann’s attention to detail and understanding of form and function.
