Faruk Malhan was born in Izmir, Turkey in 1947 and graduated from the Middle East Technical University of Architecture in 1971. Soon after, Malhan founded his design brand, Koleksiyon, which specializes in designing and furnishing furniture and decorative accessories for at-home and work environments. Faruk Malhan prides himself on having a broad educational base, and enjoys taking in-depth views of design cultures and societies as well as various forms of production to shape his work.
